SOUTHWEST WASTEWATER PUMP STATION & FORCE MAIN PROJECT
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County, North Carolina, sitting
as the governing board of Harnett County.
Section I. This project consists of the renovation of sewer lift station 57 and the construction of
approximately 27,000 linear feet of 20 inch sewer force main along Hwy 87 in the Southwest
Harnett County and Northeast Cumberland County. The new force main will connect into the
existing 36 inch Fort Bragg sewer force main on Manchester Road in Cumberland County. This
project will allow HRW to transport more wastewater from the Southwest portion of Harnett
County to our South Harnett Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Section II. This project will be funded by Harnett Regional Water reserves.
Section III. The following amounts are hereby appropriated for this project:
