ABSENTEE MEETING MINUTES
October 4, 2005
5:00 p.m.
Present were William Randall, Chairman, Roy Tew, Secretary and Walter
Massey, Member.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director,
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m.
Minutes:
Mr. Tew moved to approve the minutes of September 20, 2005. Mr. Randall
seconded. Approved without dissent.
Mr. Massey moved to approve the minutes of September 27, 2005. Mr. Tew
seconded. Approved without dissent.
New Business:
The Board reviewed the absentee ballots for Erwin. Mr. Massey moved to
approve OS-6 through OS-11 (inclusive). Mr. Tew seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Board reviewed the absentee ballot for Lillington. Mr. Massey moved to
approve CIV-2. Mr. Tew seconded. Approved without dissent.
Ms. Toler presented the board with information regarding the voter whose
citizenship was in question. Ms. Toler advised that the voter did not respond to the first
notice sent and that the certified mail was returned as undeliverable. Mr. Tew moved to
remove the voter. Mr. Massey seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Board agreed that the forms presented the previous week by the director
should be utilized for the upcoming municipal elections.
The next meeting of the Board will be October 11, 2005 at 5:00 p.m.
Mr. Massey moved to adjourn. Mr. Tew seconded. The meeting was adjourned
at 5:30 p.m.
