REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
May 10, 2005
3:00 p.m.
Present were Chairman William Randall, Roy Tew, Secretary and Walter Massey,
Member.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
Minutes:
Mr. Tew moved to approve the minutes of April 19, 2005. Mr. Massey seconded
the motion. Approved without dissent.
New Business:
Ms. Toler advised that the County Manager's proposed budget to be submitted to
the county commissioners does not include the voting machines.
Ms. Toler submitted another proposal for precinct changes to be discussed at the
upcoming precinct meetings. The Board agreed to the following dates of June 2nd in
Angier, June 9th in Dunn, June 13th at Western Harnett and June 16th in Lillington.
Mr. Tew indicated that he wanted more one -stop sites for general elections in
addition to the precinct changes.
Ms. Toler advised that she was also scheduled to speak to the Democratic Women
on May 17th regarding proposed precinct changes.
The next meeting of the Board will be June 14, 2005 at 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Tew moved to adjourn. Mr. Massey seconded. The meeting was adjourned
at 3:50 p.m.
