HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS
ABSENTEE MEETING
OCTOBER 26, 2021
5:00 P.M.
Present were; Board Chairwoman Allison Fenderson, Secretary Lin Coker, Members: Betsy
McCormick, James Currin and Lewis Bell
Also Present were; Director Claire Jones and Deputy Director Claudette Williams
Also present: See sign in sheet
Ms. Fenderson called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from October 19. Mr. Currin moved to approve the minutes.
Mr. Coker seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
The Board reviewed the absentee list, attached hereto. There were 27 absentee ballots; 26 were
from One -Stop and one Absentee by mail. Mr. Coker moved to approve. Mr. Bell seconded.
Approved without dissent.
The Board opened and signed the Absentee machine tapes. The one absentee by mail ballot was
tabulated and the final count on the DS200 was one.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Currin moved to adjourn. Mr. Bell seconded. The
meeting adjourned at 5:28 pm.
The next meeting of the Board will be a Pre -Election Absentee meeting on November 1, 2021 at
5:00 pm.
