REGULAR MEETING
NNE 5, 2018
4:00 P.M.
Present were; Board Chairman Tony Spears, Vice -Chair Joseph Powell, Secretary Steve
Blackburn, and Director Claire Jones
Mr. Spears called the meeting to order at 4:25pm.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from the May 18, 2018 10:00am Absentee/Provisional and
11:OOam Canvass meetings. Mr. Powell moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Blackburn seconded.
Approved without dissent.
Business:
Mrs. Jones reported to the Board:
• Precinct sort of absentee ballots were completed
• Filing for Soil and Water will run from noon June 11 until noon on July 6
• Judicial filing will run from noon June 18 until noon June 29
• The Board will reorganize at the regular meeting in July
The Board discussed a conflict with the next regular meeting. After some discussion, Mr.
Blackburn moved to change the July 3rd regular meeting to July 17 at 4:OOpm. Mr. Powell
seconded. Approved without dissent.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Blackburn moved to adjourn. Mr. Powell seconded. The
meeting was adjourned at 4:38 pm.
The next meeting of the Board will be a regular meeting on July 17, 2018 at 4:00 pm.
