HARNETT COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS
REGULAR MEETING
JANUARY 3, 2017
4:00 P.M.
Present were; Board Chairman James Currin, Board Secretary Tony Spears, Board Member
Joseph Powell and Director Claire Jones
Also present was Jean Sivoli, Democratic Chair
Mr. Currin called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from December 14, 2016. Mr. Spears moved to approve the
minutes. Mr. Powell seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
Mrs. Jones informed the Board that the office was busy preparing the absentee/provisional
results by precinct report. The files will be complete and sent to the State Board by Friday
January 6.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Powell moved to adjourn. Mr. Spears seconded. The
meeting was adjourned at 4:07 pm.
The next meeting of the Board will be a regular meeting on February 7, 2017 at 4:00 pm.
