CANVASS MEETING
NOVEMBER 18, 2016
11:00 A.M.
Present were; Board Chairman James Currin, Board Secretary Tony Spears, Board Member
Joseph Powell and Director Claire Jones
Also Present: Deputy Director Claudette Williams and members of the public, list attached
hereto.
Mr. Currin called the meeting to order at 11:00 am.
Business:
Mrs. Jones stated that the State Board of Elections had not submitted the DMV reports needed to
finalize Provisionals. Without Provisionals finalized the Board cannot canvass. After some
discussion Mr. Powell moved to recess the Canvass until Tuesday at 4:OOpm. Mr. Spears
seconded. Approved without dissent.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Spears moved to recess. Mr. Powell seconded. The
meeting was recesses at 11:04 am.
The Canvass meeting will reconvene November 22 at 4:OOpm.
