ABSENTEE MEETING MINUTES
MAY 24, 2016 5:00 P.M.
Present were Board Members; James Currin, Tony Spears, Joseph Powell and Director Claire
Jones.
Mr. Currin called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from May 17, 2016. Mr. Spears moved to approve the minutes.
Mr. Powell seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
The Board reviewed the absentee list, attached hereto. Mr. Powell moved to approve the list. Mr.
Spears seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Board discussed combining the 4:00pm regular meeting and the 5:00pm absentee meeting
on June 7. Mr. Powell moved to combine the meetings. Mr. Spears seconded. Approved without
dissent. Both meeting will be at 5:00pm on June 7, at the Harnett County Board of Elections
Office.
With no other business to discuss, Mr. Spears moved to adjourn. Mr. Powell seconded. The
meeting was adjourned at 5:20 pm.
The next Board meeting will be an absentee meeting on May 31, 2016 at 5:00 pm.
