REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 14, 2016
4:00 P.M.
Present were; Board Chairman James Currin, Board Secretary Tony Spears, Board Member
Joseph Powell and Director Claire Jones
Also present was Jean Sivoli, Democratic Chair
Mr. Currin called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from November 22, 2016 and December 8, 2016. Mr. Powell
moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Spears seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
Mrs. Jones informed the Board that the State Board moved the Election Conference to February
13 and 14. The NCADE Conference is still April 9-11 in Wilmington, NC.
The Board of Commissioners requests the presence of the Election Board and Staff at their next
meeting on January 3, 2017 at 9:OOam.
- , The Board discussed reviewing election issues and items to focus on for precinct worker training
at their February meeting.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Spears moved to adjourn. Mr. Powell seconded. The
meeting was adjourned at 4:17 pm.
The next meeting of the Board will be the regular meeting, January 3, 2017 at 4:00 pm.
