ABSENTEE MEETING
OCTOBER 20, 2015
5:00 PM
Present were Board Members; James Currin, Tony Spears, Joseph Powell and Director Claire
Jones.
Mr. Currin called the meeting to order at 5:03 pm.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from October 13, 2015, 11:00 Canvass. Mr. Spears moved to
approve the minutes. Mr. Powell seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Board reviewed the minutes from October 13, 2015, 4:00 continued Canvass. Mr. Spears
moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Powell seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Board reviewed the closed session minutes from October 13, 2015, 4:00 continued Canvass.
Mr. Powell moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Spears seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
The Board reviewed the absentee list, attached hereto. Five absentee ballots were mailed and one
has been returned, to be approved. Mr. Powell moved to approve the absentee list. Mr. Spears
seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Mock Election on October 19 to test the election reporting systems went smoothly and there
were no issues.
One -stop voting will begin Thursday October 22 at 8:00 am.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Powell moved to adjourn. Mr. Spears seconded. The
meeting was adjourned at 5:15 pm.
The next meeting will be an Absentee Board meeting on October 27, 2015 at 5:00 pm.
