REGULAR MEETING
_ MARCH 3, 2015
4:00 P.M.
Present were Board Members; James Currin and Joseph Powell and Director Claire Jones.
Mr. Currin called the meeting to order at 4:05 pm.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from February 3, 2015. Mr. Powell moved to approve the
minutes. Mr. Currin seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
Mrs. Jones informed the Board that the budget for fiscal year 2015-2016 has been submitted to
Administration. Mrs. Jones did meet with Interim County Manager Joseph Jeffries and Interim
Assistant County Manager Paula Stewart, and discussed the highlights of the budget such as the
number of elections this budget year will cover and the need for the fourth position.
The office is already preparing for the upcoming Municipal Elections. Notices were sent to the
towns requesting their filing fees and asking them to proof our Geocode street listing to see if
there were any annexations that needed to be added or taken out. Notices will also be sent to all
polling places that will be involved in the Municipal election.
Mrs. Jones stated that she was going to draft a calendar for the Board of all the important dates
coming up this year.
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Powell moved to Adjourn. Mr. Currin seconded. The
meeting was adjourned at 4:15 pm.
The next board meeting will be a regular meeting on April 7, 2015 at 4:00 pm.
