MEETING MINUTES
September 3, 2013
4:00 P.M.
Present were Board Members; James Currin, Tony Spears, Joseph Powell and Director Claire
Jones.
Mr. Currin called the meeting to order at 4:15 pm.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from August 20, 2013. Mr. Powell moved to approve the
minutes. Mr. Spears seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
Mrs. Jones informed the Board of the poll worker training dates on September 5, 10 and 12. The
Chief Judges and Judges would be at the training on the 10 so we can go over their specific
duties and swear them in for their appointment.
Ms. Jones then presented to the Board an updated calendar for this election season, highlighting
the beginning of one -stop voting and the absentee meetings. The Board discussed combining
their next regular meeting on October 1, 2013 at 4:00 pm with the absentee meeting the same day
at 5:00 pm. Mr. Spears moved to combine the meetings on October 1, 2013 and hold it at 5:00
pm. Mr. Powell seconded. Approved without dissent.
Mr. Spears moved to Adjourn. Mr. Powell seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 4:40pm.
The next meeting of the Board is an absentee meeting on September 17, 2013 5:00p.m.
