ABSENTEE MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 25, 2011
5:00 P.M.
Present were Chairman Walter Massey, Secretary James Currin and Member Louise Taylor.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Chairman Massey called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from October 18, 2011. Mr. Currin moved to approve. Ms.
Taylor seconded. Approved without dissent.
Business:
The Board reviewed the absentee poll book. Ms. Taylor moved to approve the list, attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Mr. Currin seconded. Approved without
dissent.
Ms. Toler indicated that no additional absentee by mail ballots were requested and that there
were 24 one -stop voters.
Ms. Toler advised the Board that the part-time staff hours would be adjusted after November I"
due to one -stop not being as busy as anticipated.
Ms. Toler added that at the previous meeting she failed to mention that the hand —eye sample
recount for the October Election came out perfect.
The next meeting of the Board will be its regular and absentee meeting on November 1, 2011 at
5:00 p.m. Mr. Currin advised that we may have a student visitor at this meeting.
Mr. Currin moved to adjourn. Ms. Taylor seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
