REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
May 5, 2009
12:00 p.m.
Present were Chairman Walter Massey, and Member Louise Taylor. Secretary Walt Titchener was unable to
attend.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Chairman Massey called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes of April 7, 2009. Ms. Taylor moved to approve. Mr. Massey seconded.
Approved without dissent.
New Business
Ms. Toler provided the Board with statistics regarding list maintenance. 7942 voters were moved from
active to inactive. 3366 voters were removed.
Ms. Toler advised that given the current state of the budget, it is unclear whether or not the commissioners
will approve the monies necessary to move polling places. The Board directed Ms. Toler to attend the next
commissioner work session and request those monies be included in the budget. Because of the uncertainty
regarding the budget, the Board agreed to wait until after the budget is finalized before taking any further action.
The next meeting of the Board will be on June 2, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
Ms. Taylor moved to adjourn. Mr. Massey seconded. The meeting was adjourned at 1:00 p.m.
