REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
March 4, 2008
12:00 p.m.
Present were Chairman William Randall, Secretary Walt Titchener and Member
Walter Massey.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 12:05 p.m.
Minutes:
Mr. Massey moved to approve the minutes of February 19, 2008. Mr. Titchener
seconded. Approved without dissent.
New Business:
The Board discussed poll worker training. Mr. Randall indicated he would not be
available on March 29, 2008.
Ms. Toler reviewed the budget. After discussing each line item and making a few
adjustments, Mr. Titchener moved to approve the budget. Mr. Massey seconded.
Approved without dissent.
The Board discussed the bees which have been a continuous problem at the front
of the building. The Board suggested that Ms. Toler draft a resolution encouraging the
commissioners to ensure that the bees are removed so they do not pose a danger to staff
or voters.
The next regular meeting of the Board will be on April 1, 2008 at 12:00 noon.
Poll worker training will be held on March 15, 2008 and March 29, 2008.
Mr. Massey moved to adjourn. Mr. Titchener seconded. The meeting was
adjourned at 1:20 p.m.
