REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
January 8, 2008
3:00 p.m.
Present were Chairman William Randall and Secretary Walt Titchener. Member
Walter Massey was present via speaker phone.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
Minutes:
Mr. Titchener moved to approve the minutes of December 4, 2007. Mr. Randall
seconded. Approved without dissent.
New Business:
Ms. Toler advised the Board that she attended the protest appeal hearing at the
State Board filed by Mr. Clark and his appeal was dismissed.
Ms. Toler showed the board members a large poll supply bag she purchased as a
sample and explained that she was trying to find alternatives to the green boxes.
However, the bag was not large enough to accommodate all the supplies. Mr. Titchener
suggested looking at other suppliers including non -election suppliers such as Samsonite
Luggage.
Ms. Toler discussed the possibility of adding 2 additional one -stop sites for the
November election.
The Board discussed changing the meeting time and agreed to postpone further
discussion until the next meeting on February 12, 2008 at 2:30 p.m.
Mr. Titchener moved to adjourn. Mr. Randall seconded. The meeting was
adjourned at 3:10 p.m.
