REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
- December 2, 2008
12:00 p.m.
Present were Secretary Walt Titchener and Member Walter Massey.
Mr. Massey called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m.
Minutes:
The Board reviewed the minutes from previous meetings. Mr. Titchener moved to
approve the minutes of October 8, 2008, October 14, 2008, October 21, 2008, November 4, 2008
and November 14, 2008. Mr. Massey seconded. Approved without dissent.
New Business:
The Board discussed the vacancy on the Board and indications from the parry as to when
it might be filled.
Ms. Toler advised the Board that she would like to have a poll worker appreciation/open
house in January. The Board agreed on the date of January 13, 2009 from 4 — 7 p.m. at the
Common's Area.
Ms. Toler advised the Board that a poll worker complained that she had received less pay
on the last day of one -stop because she left at 1:00 rather than staying until one -stop ended which
was after 8:00 p.m. Ms. Toler advised the poll worker that they are paid to work until voting is
"complete" and that by leaving at 1:00 she did not do that and as a result the amount of pay was
determined accordingly. Ms. Toler advised the Board that she had directed to the poll worker to
write a letter to the Board if she wishes.
The next meeting of the Board will be January 6, 2009 at 12:00 noon.
Mr. Titchener made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Massey seconded. The meeting was
adjourned at 1:10 p.m.
