ABSENTEE MEETING MINUTES
September 18, 2007
5:00 p.m.
Present were Chairman William Randall, Member Walter Massey and Secretary
Walt Titchener.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Minutes:
Mr. Massey moved to approve the minutes of June 19, 2007 and June 26, 2007.
Mr. Randall seconded. Approved without dissent. Mr. Massey moved to approve the
minutes of August 21, 2007. Mr. Titchener seconded. Approved without dissent.
New Business:
Ms. Toler presented the Board with the two mail -in absentee ballots received for
the October 9, 2007 election. The absentee log is attached hereto and incorporated herein
by this reference. Mr. Massey moved to approve those ballots. Mr. Titchener seconded.
Approved without dissent.
Ms. Toler reminded the Board that one -stop voting will begin on Thursday.
Additionally, poll worker training will be held following the next board meeting on
September 25, 2007.
Ms. Toler advised the board that the State Board has determined that Angier
voters who live in Wake County will now be voting at the Town Hall in Angier.
The next meeting of the Board will be September 25, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. followed
by a poll worker training session from 6:00 pm. to 9:30 p.m.
Mr. Massey moved to adjourn. Mr. Titchener seconded. The meeting was
adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
