ABSENTEE MEETING MINUTES
October 9, 2007
5:00 p.m.
Present were Chairman William Randall, Member Walter Massey and Secretary
Walt Titchener.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.
New Business:
Ms. Toler presented the Board with the mail -in absentee ballots received and the
list of one -stop voters for the October 9, 2007 election. A list of the voters is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Mr. Massey moved to approve those
ballots. Mr. Titchener seconded. Approved without dissent.
Ms. Toler provided the Board with one absentee ballot (CIV-27) that was mailed
back with no signature and no witnesses. Ms. Toler advised that she had spoken with the
voter and asked her to come to the office with identification and we would witness it for
her. She advised that she would not be able to come to the office. Mr. Massey moved to
reject that ballot. Mr. Titchener seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Board opened the 22 mail -in absentee ballots and fed them through the
machine. Ms. Toler closed the machine and ran the tapes. The Board reviewed the tapes
and signed them.

Ms. Toler was advised to release the results at 7:30 p.m.
The next meeting of the Board will be canvass on October 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.
Mr. Massey moved to adjourn. Mr. Titchener seconded. The meeting was
adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
