ABSENTEE MEETING MINUTES
June 19, 2007
5:00 p.m.
Present were Chairman William Randall, Roy Tew, Secretary and Walter Massey,
Member.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 5:10 p.m.
Minutes:
Mr. Massey moved to approve the minutes of June 12, 2007. Mr. Tew seconded.
Approved without dissent.
New Business:
Ms. Toler advised the Board that turnout for the election was extremely low so far
during the day.
Ms. Toler presented the board with the poll book of absentee voters through June
18, 2007 at 5:00 p.m, attached hereto and incorporated herein. Mr. Massey moved to
approve those ballots. Mr. Tew seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Board began feeding mail -in absentee ballots into the voting machine. The
tapes were printed and signed by the board and the results to be held until 7:30. The
Board also printed and signed the one -stop machine tapes with those results also to be
held until 7:30 p.m.
The next meeting of the board will be the canvass meeting on June 26, 2007 at
11:00 a.m.
Mr. Tew moved to adjourn. Mr. Massey seconded. The meeting was adjourned
at 5:35 p.m.
