REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
r- June 13, 2006
3:00 p.m.
Present were William Randall, Chairman and Secretary Roy Tew. Member
Walter Massey was unable to attend.
Sherre Toler, Director was also present.
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 3:15 p.m.
New Business:
Ms. Toler advised that she had received the invoice for ballots and that the price
was 36 cents per ballot, much higher than in previous years. She advised that all
directors were lobbying the State Board to either certify additional printers or negotiate a
better price with the current and presently, only, vendor.
Ms. Toler advised that the August conference would be held in Asheville and
advised the Board of the dates.
Ms. Toler also advised that she had been contacted by officials in Angier
regarding a possible alcohol referendum election and would advise further if they pursued
having an election.
The next meeting of the Board will be its regular monthly meeting on July 11,
2006 at 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Tew moved to adjourn. Mr. Randall seconded. The meeting was adjourned
at approximately 3:25 pm.
