ABSENTEE MEETING MINUTES
April 25, 2006 .
5:00 p.m.
Present were William Randall, Chairman, Secretary Roy Tew and Walter Massey,
Member.
Also present was Sherre Toler, Director.
Mr. Randall called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.
Minutes:
Mr. Massey moved to approve the minutes of April 18, 2006. Mr. Tew seconded.
Approved without dissent.
New Business:
Ms. Toler advised the Board that a candidate filed a complaint regarding
campaign materials mailed out by a registered PAC. Ms. Toler advised that she
forwarded the complaint to the State Board.
Ms. Toler also advised that another mail -in absentee ballot was returned as
undeliverable.
The Board reviewed absentee ballots, CIV-9, CIV-10, CIV-11, CIV-13 and
MIL-22. Mr. Tew moved to approve. Mr. Massey seconded. Approved without dissent.
The Board also reviewed the one stop poll book containing voters, OSLOB-27 —
OSLOB-72. Mr. Tew moved to approve. Mr. Massey seconded. Approved without
dissent.
The pollbook of absentee voters is approved and incorporated herein by this
reference.
Ms. Toler gave the Board members a list of the polling places and a list of poll
workers assigned to each. The Board discussed which polling places they would be
traveling to on election day.
Ms. Toler advised the Board that the County Manager had recommended approval
of the budget as submitted.
Ms. Toler also advised the Board that she and the staff would be conducting
another provisional training class for those who did not attend the previous week.
The next meeting of the Board will be the absentee meeting on May 2, 2006. at
5:00 p.m.
Mr. Massey moved to adjourn. Mr. Tew seconded. The meeting was adjourned
at approximately 5:38 p.m.
