Minutes of Special Meeting (work session)
October 27, 2006
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Friday, October
27, 2006, in the Commissioners Conference Room, County Administration Building, 102
East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present: Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman
Walt Titchener
Tim McNeill
Vice Chairman Beatrice B. Hill and Commissioner Dan B. Andrews were absent.
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
John Rouse, Health Director
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m. and called on Mr. Rouse.
Mr. Rouse surveyed the commissioners and reported on the 2006 Community Health
Assessment. He also updated the Board on current environmental health issues that
might be addressed at the 2007 legislative session.
Mr. Emory provided an update on school construction programs.
There being no further business, the work session adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
