Special Meeting (work session)
January 14, 2005
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Friday,
January 14, 2005, in the Human Resources Conference Room, County Administration
Building, 102 East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present: Beatrice B. Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Walt Titchener
Tim McNeill
Chairman Teddy J. Byrd was absent
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Wm. A. (Tony) Wilder, Assistant County Manager
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Vice Chairman Hill called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m.
Mr. Emory led a discussion on the following items:
1. Overview of upcoming Board Retreat, January 29, 2005
2. Northern Harnett Rescue issues
3. Growth of Campbell University
4. Mental Health Services Merger
There being no further business, Commissioner McNeill moved to adjourn.
Commissioner Andrews seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. The Harnett
County Board of Commissioners’ work session, January 14, 2005, adjourned at 1:30
p.m.
