Angier_project near ETJJay, The max permitted in our Town specs is 500 ft. for cul-de-sac streets, unless each lot on the street is 100 ft. or wider.. then the max is 1,200 ft. If stub outs are provided along those dead-end streets, we allow them longer than 1,200 ft. Seeing as the lots in that proposed development will be on septic, the only way they'll ever be annexed is if and when those tanks fail years from now and a large majority of the subdivision approaches the Town requesting annexation. Even in that scenario (unlikely in my opinion), the subdivision would be a legal nonconformity since it was approved prior to being in our jurisdiction.
