CITY OF DUNN
DUNN, NORTH CAROLINA
The City Council of the City of Dunn held a Special Called Meeting on Tuesday, June 28, 2019.at 2:00 p.m. in
the Dunn Municipal Building. Present: Mayor Oscar N. Harris, Mayor Pro Tem Frank McLean, Council
Members Buddy Maness, Billy Tart, Chuck Turnage and Dr. David L. Bradham.
Absent: Dr. Gwen McNeill
Also present: City Manager Steven Neuschafer, Assistant to the City Manager Mathew Boone, Finance Director
Jim Roberts, Public Utilities Director Heather Adams, Planning Director George Adler, Parks and Recreation
Director Brian McNeill, and City Clerk Tammy Williams. Guests recognized by Mayor Harris: Tom Woerner with

INVOCATION
Mayor Harris opened the meeting at 2:00 p.m., gave the invocation and led the attendees in the Pledge of
Allegiance.
AGENDA ADJUSTMENT AND APPROVAL
Motion by Mayor Pro Tem McLean and second by Council Member Turnage to adopt the June 28, 2019 meeting
agenda as presented. Motion unanimously approved.
ITEMS FOR DECISION.
Budget Amendments for FY 2018-2019
Finance Director Roberts presented Budget Amendments 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 for Fiscal Year 2018-
2019 for consideration.
Motion by Council Member Maness and second by Council Member Bradham to approve the Budget Amendments
as presented. Motion unanimously approved. Budget Amendments BA#10, BA911, BA#12, BA#13, BA#14,
B,4#15, BA#16 and BA#17 are incorporated into these minutes as attachment #1.
City Manager Neuschafer updated the Council on the paving project and pothole repairs. Parks and Recreation
Director McNeill gave an update on the upcoming State Tournament to be held in Dunn.
With no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Council Member Tart and second by Council Member
Maness to adjourn the meeting at 2:16 p.m. Motion unanimously approved.
