Re: Agreement for
Purchase and Sale of Real Property between Curr-Well Developments, L.L.C. (Seller) and County of Harnett (Buyer)
Dear Mr. Howell:
I forward this letter as a follow up to our telephone
conversation on this date when you confirmed with me the terms concerning your company’s sale of certain real property to the County of Harnett. The properties involved are those three
tracts which make up the old Bunnlevel School property located off Industrial Drive and College Street in Bunnlevel, N.C.
Enclosed you will find a duplicate original Agreement for Purchase
and Sale of Real Property which contains those transaction terms which had been previously negotiated between you and representatives of Harnett County. Once you have had an opportunity
to review this proposed Agreement then please feel free to call me with any proposed modifications. At such time that the Agreement is in a form satisfactory to you and your company,
then please execute the duplicate originals and return to me at my Dunn address. Once I have received these documents then I will forward the same to the Harnett County Manager for
his signature with a duplicate original to be returned to you for your file purposes.
On behalf of Harnett County, I thank you for your willingness to allow representatives of the County
to conduct its due diligence efforts prior to entering into this written Agreement. Once those due diligence efforts are completed and the County has obtained a Conditional Use Permit
in order to use this property as a solid waste disposal convenience center, then I am sure that the County will be able to close this matter hopefully prior to the August 15, 2016 closing
deadline.
