EMAILSGood afternoon, Rob. The only permit as far as you would need from
building would be a minimum building permit. The fee is $160.00. We do
not need plans either. Just keep in mind to please send a revised site
plan to Jay Sikes in Planning. He will then let me know when it is
approved so you can buy the building permit. if you have additional
questions, please let me know. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Donna,
The general contractor quoted the construction cost to me @ $55,000
(which actually seems a bit high, given the scope of work). We will be
utilizing the existing electrical service so no new electrical work is
required – just the new slab extension and the two (2) new cabinets
which will augment the existing cabinets at the site.
Let me know if you have any additional questions once you complete your
review and I’ll be happy to oblige.

Sorry Rob. I did not see the attachments on my previous email. I will
print these off and see if I need anything else. I will definitely need
the job costs of the sticks and bricks of slab/building and if there is
additional electrical. I need that job cost also. They will need to be
separate since permit costs are based on job cost.
Thank you,

Subject: US Cellular - Building Permit application attached (USC site:
556611 Buies Creek)
Mr. Sikes,
US Cellular received the attached zoning approval back in June for some
proposed equipment modifications at their cellular colocation site,
located on the water tower at 5155 US Hwy 421 across from Barker-Lane
football stadium in Buies Creek. US Cellular has now determined that
they need to do additional work at the site that now includes extending
the existing concrete pad to accommodate two (2) additional outdoor
ground cabinets. Can you confirm that this additional ground work is
going to trigger a Building Permit?
If so, then I’ve attached a completed Building Permit application along
with a set of Construction Drawings outlining the additional work.
Please review and let me know if the permit will be required, and what
the cost of the permit will be. As soon as I have the cost, I will send
the payment your way ASAP.
Thank you,
