CITY OF DUNN
DUNN, NORTH CAROLINA
The City Council of the City of Dunn held a Special Call Meeting on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at
11:30 a.m. in the Dunn Municipal Building. Present was Mayor Oscar N. Harris, Council Members
Buddy Maness, Dr. Gwen McNeill, Frank McLean, Billy Tart, and Billy Barfield. Also present was
City Manager Ronnie Autry, Assistant City Manager Steven Neuschafer, City Clerk Jennifer Fortin,
and Daily Record Reporter Keilah Goff.
Absent was Council Member Chuck Turnage.
INVOCATION
Mayor Harris opened the meeting at 11:30 a.m. and gave the invocation. Afterwards, the Pledge of
Allegiance was repeated.
ITEMS FOR DECISION
Consideration to Adopt a Resolution and Accept the Letter of Conditions for USDA Loan/Grant
Application — Police Vehicles
Mayor Harris gave the floor to Tobais Fullwood, Area Specialist with USDA.
Mr. Fullwood presented the Resolution and Letter of Conditions to the City Council. The loan amount is
for $125,000, the grant amount is for $25,000 with a 2.75% interest rate over a 7 year term.
Motion by Council Member Maness and seconded by Council Member Barfield to approve the Resolution
and accept the Letter of Conditions for the USDA Loan/Grant Application with loan amount is for
$125,000, the grant amount is for $25,000 with a 2.75% interest rate over a 7 year term. Motion carried
unanimously.
Motion made by Council Member Barfield and seconded by Council Member McNeill to adjourn the
meeting at 11:44 a.m.
