March 28, 2002
The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Thursday,
March 28, 2002, in the County Manager's Office, County Administration Building,
102 East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina. •
Members present: Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman
Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Walt Titchener
Commissioner Tim McNeill joined the group via telephone.
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11.45 a.m.
Neil Emory, County Manager, led a discussion on proposed state changes to Land Use
values. In addition, L.C. O'Quinn, Tax Administrator, Boyd Beasley and Keith
Faulkner, Tax Department employees, reviewed upcoming changes to the County's
schedule of values.
Beginning with the April 24th special meeting, the Board will meet on Wednesday at
11:30 a.m. for an optional workshop on weeks when it does not meet in regular
session.
There being no further business, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners' special •
meeting, March 28, 2002, adjourned atAl2:45 p.m. _ A
