CONTINUED MEETING MINUTES
CITY OF DUNN
DUNN, NORTH CAROLINA
JULY 17, 2006
The City Council of the City of Dunn continued the City Council Meeting of Thursday, July 13, 2006,
on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. in the Dunn Municipal Building. Present at the continued
meeting was Mayor J. Dal Snipes, Mayor Pro Tern Donnie Olds, Council Members Buddy Maness,
Bryan Galbreath, Billy Tart, Billy R. Godwin, Jr. and Joey Tart. Also present was City Attorney P.
Tilghman Pope.
INVOCATION
Mayor Snipes opened the meeting at 5:00 p.m.
Motion by Council Member Joey Tart, seconded by Council Member Godwin to add to the agenda the
request to close E. Wake Street from Carolina Drive to N. Wilson Avenue for a carnival to be held at the
Alspaugh Center on Saturday, July 29, 2006. Motion approved.
Motion by Mayor Pro Tern Olds, seconded by Council Member Joey Tart to approve the street closing
request. Motion approved.
CLOSED SESSION
Motion by Mayor Pro Tern Olds, seconded by Council Member Billy Tart to go into closed session to
discuss personnel related matters. Motion approved.
Motion by Council Member Joey Tart, seconded by Council Member Billy Tart to approve the minutes of
the closed session as kept by City Attorney Pope. Motion approved.
