1991/06/03 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WATER SERVICESRESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLIC WATER SERVICES
THAT WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Lee County,
pursuant to resolution adopted on May 6, 1991, authorized the
County of Harnett and the Southwest Water and Sewer District of
Harnett County to provide public water services to certain areas
located within Lee County as are therein described; and
WHEREAS, the County of Harnett as part of its water
facilities project for the said Southwest Water and Sewer District
desires to provide water services to certain other designated
areas hereinafter described, which areas are in close proximity to
those set forth in the referenced resolution of May 6, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the County of Harnett requests that the Board of
Commissioners of Lee Countv authorize the providing of water
services to the areas hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Lee County desires to
further the opportunity of its citizens to obtain a public water
supply and therefore desires to authorize the providing of water
services as set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners
of Lee County that:
The County of Harnett and Southwest Water and Sewer District
of Harnett County shall be and hereby are authorized to provide
public water services to that area of Lee County adjacent to the
following state roads:

a. State Road 1200 from State Road 1169 south to dead end,
and
b. along State Road 1142 fold Highway 87) from county line
north approximately 1700 feet, and
C. Along State Road 1144 from Lee County line west
approximately 300 feet, and
d. along V.C. Highway 87 north approximately 500 feet from
intersection of State Road 1144.
