JUNE 3rd. 1954
The Board of County Commissioners of Harnett County met in a call meeting
on Thursday June 3rd. 1954, at 6 O'clock P. M., with all members present.
Com. Lasiter moved, seconded by Com. Ingram, that Harnett County lease to
J. D. Mason and wife the Cornelius Harnett Boarding Home until December 31st.
1958, upon the same terms and conditions as are contained in the present agree-
ment with an additional clause to provide for adjustment of boarding rent upon
change in economic conditions. Commissioners Lasiter, Ingram, and Mangum voted
for the motion and the Chairman of the board declared the same passed; and di-
rected the County Attorney to prepare such lease.
