The Harnett County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Thursday,
November 29, 2001, in the Commissioners Meeting Room, County Administration
Building, 102 East Front Street, Lillington, North Carolina.
Members present: Teddy J. Byrd, Chairman
Beatrice Bailey Hill, Vice Chairman
Dan B. Andrews
Walt Titchener
Commissioner Tim McNeill was absent.
Staff present: Neil Emory, County Manager
Kay S. Blanchard, Clerk to the Board
Chairman Byrd called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m.
Neil Emory, County Manager, reported on and led discussion of the following items:
1. Financing for Moore County waterline
2. Intensive Livestock Guidelines (draft)
3. Proposed increase of deposit for water taps
4. Income tax refund for County
5. Upcoming Blue Ribbon Committee meeting
6. Proposed uses for old Courthouse
7. Status of sewerline to Coats -Erwin School
There being no further business, the commissioners' workshop adjourned at 11:50
a.m.
