OCTOBER 5th. 1959
The Board of Commissinners met in regular session on Monday, October 5th.,
at 10:30 A. M. with all members present except Joe Curran who was absent.
Also present were the County Attorney, the Clerk to the Board and the Auditor.
The Following Reports Were Approved And Filed:

The Board ordered that D. E. Lasater, Sr. of Neill's Creek Township, be
refunded $2.00 for the year 1959 on account of error in listing poll tax.
Commissioner Warren moved, seconded by Commissioner Cameron, tha t the
Auditor be authorized to adviace t��}},,e, sum of $35.23, to C. R. Ammons, Farm
Agent, to pay the expenses orraRagichibit at the State Fair for the F. H. A.
Club.
Motion carried.
Commissioner Byrd moved, seconded by Commissioner Warren, that Hewitt
A. Brown of Neill! Creek Township, be granted free pedlars license on account
of being a disabled veteran of work war, for a period of 1 year.
Motion carried.
The Following Road Petition Was Approved
That road in Greve Township which runs from State Highway # 27 through
Pollard and Ryal Community to the lower old Coats- Benson passing homes of
M. E. Ennis and Ellis Langdon known as an old discarded county road a distance
of 1 -34 miles.

There being a Judgment o1 record as follows: County of Harnett vs
James Holliday and wife, Nettie Holliday and whereas one Inez Lee has
offered to pay all outstanding taxes against said property, provided the
County will execute to her a deed fro the County's interest in said property.
It was upon motion of Commissioner Warren, and seconded by Commissioner
Byrd, that upon payment of the sum of $180.00 to the county of Harnett that the
County of Harnett execute a deed for their interest in4aid property to the said
Inez»Lee. And the Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized to execute a deed
to Ines Lee and the Clerk will attest same.
