M. with all members present, Also present were the County Attorney, the Auditor and the Clerk to the Board. Rev. R. Lewis Beale, of Baptist Church, Angier, was guest minister and gave the invocation. The Following reports were approved Tax Collector Clerk Superior Court Clerk Recorders Court Register of Deeds Veterans Service Officer County Electrical Inspector and filed: D. P. Ray, Jr. Elizabeth F. Matthews Kyle Harrington Inez Harrington Jean Maness B. H. Sellers Motion duly made, seconded and passed, that B. H. Sellers and Roy Godwin be add they are hereby appointed Electrical Inspectors for Harnett County to serve at the pleasure of the Board and either one shall make the necessary inspections at the request of the Electrical Contractors or. the owner as required by the Statue. The Following Road Petitions Were Approved: (1) To add to the state system that road in Upper Little River Township which runs from Highway #1l21 at the home of Graham Wright to the right toward Cape Fear River a distance of approximately 2 miles on which there are 4 occupied homes. (Petition mailed) (2) To add to the state system that road in Lillington Township which has as its beginning- at the Town limits and extending from Lillington in a westerly direction to the Old Sanford Road. The members of the Harnett County Development Committee will be invited to meet with the Harnett County Board of Commissioners in the commissioners room on April 6th. at 10 :00 A. M• for the purpose of organizing, and the clerk will notify each member of this meeting. The Board ordered the County Offices closed on Easter Monday, March 30th. The Board of Commissioners will spit as a Board of Equalization and Review at the courthouse beginning March 16th. at 10:00 A.M.
