08271970429 Recording of Special Meeting August 27, 1970 Special Meeting A special meeting was called today with the following members present Messrs: M. H. Brock, Chairman; D. P. Ray, Jr., member; W. J. Cotton, r., member; C. E. McLamb, member and Gilbert Brown, member. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 2:00 P. M. by the Chairman. ORDER OF BUSINESS The order of business was to issue the following order to the Tax Collector. NORTH CAROLINA HARNETT COUNTY TO. W. EARL JONES, Harnett County Tax Collector You are hereby authorized, empowered and commanded to collect the taxes set forth in the tax books filed in the office of the Harnett County Tax Supervisor and in the receipts herewith delivered to you, and in the amount and from the taxpayers therein set forth, (and also, all other taxpayers and taxes represented by official tax receipts for years other than the current year) and such taxes are hereby declared to be a first lien on all real property of the respective taxpayers in Harnett County and this order shall be a full and sufficient authority to direct, require and enable you to levy on and sell any real or personal property of said taxpayers, for and on account thereof in accord- ance with law.
