RESOLUTION
William Dan Andrews
Whereas, farming has long served as the social and economic cornerstone upon which
Harnett County was built; and
Whereas, our county farmers continue to play a vital role in the future of our community;
and
Whereas, William Dan Andrews through his efforts and dedication exemplifies the
professionalism exhibited by today's young farmer; and
Whereas, his accomplishments in farming were recently recognized by his selection as
North Carolina's Farmer of the Year by the North Carolina Farm Bureau; and
Whereas his selection to receive this prestigious award is a positive reflection upon him
as well as the dedication and commitment his family has made over past generations.
Now Therefore Be It Resolved, that the Hamett County Board of Commissioners does
hereby congratulate and commend Mr. William Dan Andrews for his receipt of this honor and
does thank him on behalf of the citizens of the County for his dedication and commitment to
agriculture.
