08/17/98 Mfg Home Park Text Amend Art II,ArtIIIRECORDED IN ORDINANCE BOOK 2, PAGE 77 HARNETT COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE HARNETT COUNTY MANUFACTURED HOME PARK ORDINANCE TEXT WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County adopted a Manufactured Home Park Ordinance on January 20, 1986 for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, and general welfare of the county residents; and WHEREAS, this ordinance was adopted under authority granted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, particularly G.S. 153A -340; and WHEREAS, the Manufactured Home Park Ordinance contains provisions for amending said ordinance and those provisions have been followed; and WHEREAS, the Harnett County Planning Board has reviewed the proposed deletion to Article BI, Section 3.14 and additions to Article III, Section 3.7 'and Article 11, Section 2.2 of the Manufactured Home Park Ordinance and recommends the adoption of the following amendment. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF HARNETT COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA that Article II, Section 2.2, Article III, Section 3.7 and Article Ill, Section 3.14 of the Manufactured Home Park Ordinance be amended by deleting Article III, Section 3.14 and adding the following text to Article III, Section 3.7 and Article II, Section 2.2: ARTICLE 111, Section 3.7 Nonresidential Uses No part of any park (no property on the same deed as the manufactured home park) may be used for nonresidential purposes except: a. Storage Buildings: One storage building if allowed by the park owner may not exceed 10'x 10' or 100 sq. ft. b. Swimming Pools as allowed by the park owner. C. Uses that are required for the direct servicing and well being of park residents and for the management and maintenance of the park. This section shall not be construed to prohibit the sale of a manufactured home located on a manufactured home lot and connected to the pertinent facilities. ARTICLE II Section 2.2 Definitions: Swimming Pool is defined as any structure, chamber, tank in ground or above ground containing an artificial body of water which is used for swimming, diving, wading, recreation or therapy together with all buildings, appurtenances and equipment used in connection with the body of water.
