HARNETT COUNTY, NC
WHEREAS, the Harnett County Board of Commissioners
adopted an Ordinance on October 17, 1988 entitled "AN
ORDINANCE TO IMPLEMENT MAP SIZE SPECIFICATION FOR HARNETT
COUNTY "; and
WHEREAS, said Board is of the opinion that the
amendments set forth below are necessary to the clear and
efficient working of the Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held concerning
adoption of such amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED:
THAT the third paragraph_ in said ordinance be amended to
read as follows:
WHEREAS, Harnett County, in compliance with the
provisions of Senate Bill 764, Section 3, G.S. 47 -30,
Uniform Map Law, will henceforth require maps meeting
specifications of an outside marginal size of eighteen (18)
inches by twenty four (24) inches and no larger or smaller
including one and one -half (1 1/2) inches for binding on the
left margin and one -half (1/2) inch border on each of the
other sides.
Duly adopted this 19th day of August , 1991.
