DOT status update- March 23, 2007 Page 1 of 1 From: Troy L. Baker [tlbaker@dot.state.nc.us] Sent: Friday, March 23, 2007 4:15 PM To: Samantha Ficzko Cc: Chris McGee Subject: Re: Forest Ridge Samantha, Our subdivision review was completed based on the "40" lots. As of now, he has not applied for a entire driveway permit. Kimley-Horn is in the process of preparing a TIA for the development. They have had to do some modifications (i.e.. "super street" design) to meet our criteria for all developments along that corridor of NC 87. Once the driveway permit has been applied for and approved, we may ask for assistance from the Planning Department if the requirements for the driveway permit has not been fulfilled (such as not issuing any further building permits). Thanks for keeping us up to date... Troy     Samantha Ficzko wrote: Troy, Good morning  We have received a final plat for approval for Forest Ridge, which I am in the process of reviewing. Generally, the only thing we look for on these plats in regards to DOT is someone’s signature. Since there is a DOT signature on this plat, we are going to consider that sufficient as far as DOT approval is concerned (ie- we will likely move to conditionally approve this plat at the DRB meeting next week). Is that okay with you guys? I attached the plat for you as well. ~Samantha Thanks and have a great day!
