The street has not been paved and HCDPU would like to see that the new water line extension
will not be paved over. In addition, NCDOT will not approve the final plat unless the street has
been installed to meet NCDOT Standards or a sufficient bond has been placed on this project to
cover the uncompleted improvements.
The PE must provide HCDPU with As-Built Record Drawings (paper, digital & mylar copies), the
PE Certification for the water system improvements installed to serve this development.
The developer provide HCDPU with a Cost Statement indicating the cost of the water system
improvements..

This industrial park (formerly named North Harnett Industrical Park) was to be set up for 11
lots and the water line permit issued by NCDENR was for an 8" water line extension to serve 11
lots. The 2 additional taps may be installed by HCDPU after the new water line extension has
been approved by NCDENR under the DEH Serial No. 07-01399 or the project can be
resubmitted to NCDENR for plan approval of the revised plans with the additional taps and then
once approved and permitted by NCDENR, the utility contractor may install the 2 additional
taps that were not previously indicated on the NCDENR approved plans.
