PU-SR-01 (2) The street has not been paved and HCDPU would like to see that the new water line extension  will not be paved over. In addition, NCDOT will not approve the final plat unless the street has been installed to meet NCDOT Standards or a sufficient bond has been placed on this project to cover the uncompleted improvements. The PE must provide HCDPU with As-Built Record Drawings (paper, digital & mylar copies), the  PE Certification for the water system improvements installed to serve this development. The developer provide HCDPU with a Cost Statement indicating the cost of the water system  improvements.. The 2 additional taps may be installed by HCDPU after the new water line extension has been approved by NCDENR under the DEH Serial No. 07-01399 or the project can be resubmitted to NCDENR for plan approval of the revised plans with the additional taps and then once approved and permitted by NCDENR, the utility contractor may install the 2 additional taps that were not previously indicated on the NCDENR approved plans.
