RE: Walnut Grove Subdivision
Mr. Clayton,
I was forwarded your letter and corresponding utility plan submitted to the
Harnett County Fire Marshal. No approval is granted by individual
departments for applications reviewed by the Development Review Board
(DRB). Thus, the Fire Marshal cannot provide an approval letter on your
recent submittal to their office. Below you can find the process for submittal
of revised plans.
All DRB applications must follow the required process. Plans are reviewed by
each member department and a decision is rendered by the DRB as a whole
during the scheduled meeting. At this point a Decision Packet is created,
which states all comments that must be addressed in order for an application
to receive approval.
In the case where an application is granted ‘Conditional Approval’, as your
application was, comments should be addressed and revised plans are to be
submitted to the Planning Department for distribution to DRB members. Once
all members that provided comment have reviewed the revised plans, a
signed map will be forwarded to the applicant or another Decision Packet will
be created, depending on whether or not all comments were addressed.
I have attached the DRB Decision Packet from the meeting your application
was heard. This packet provides all comments that must be addressed in
order to obtain DRB approval. When all departments comments have been
addressed a signed copy of the plan will be forwarded to your office.
