Front Street, Lillington, NC 27546 Phone: (910) 893-7525 Fax: (910) 893-2793 Development Name: Ben Woods - Final Property Description PIN(s): 0547-27-4371.000 Acreage: 7.97 acres Address/SR No.: NC Hwy 210 Water Public water is available for this development (via Harnett County) Comments: The water lines that serve this subdivision were permitted by NCDENR-PWSS under Serial # 04-00704. The utility contractor has completed the construction of the water main in accordance with the approved plans. Harnett County Department of Public Utilities (HCDPU) has inspected and tested the six (6") inch and two (2") inch water lines along Ben Court that were installed to serve the Ben Woods Subdivision. These water lines should be able to adequately serve this project. The PE has submitted the As-Built Record Drawings (paper, mylar & digital formats), the PE Certification and the Cost Statement for the for the water line(s) installed to serve this subdivision. These documents have been submitted to HCDPU prior to the final plat being stamped by the Development Review Board (DRB) in accordance with the established Approval Process for New Water Line Extensions as described on the Harnett County website www.harnett.org under the Public utilities page. However, HCDPU must complete the final "walk-through" inspection of the water line and associated services. The Utility Contractor should contact HCDPU to schedule the final inspection. Meters cannot be provided to this subdivision until the final approval is issued from NCDENR PWSS. NOTE: HCDPU provides this information as a curteousy to the developer and professional engineer for design purposes. However, HCDPU cannot be held liable for errors, mistakes, ommissions, and inaccurate information provided through this preliminary and/or final plat approval process. It is therefore recommended that the professional engineer or developer "field verify" the information provided by HCDPU. Sewer Public sewer is not available for this development (via Harnett County) Comments: Septic Tanks must be properly sized and installed on each residential building lot to handle the wastewater disposal as HCDPU does not have county sewer available within close proximity of this development. The septic tanks and associated drain fields for each residential lot must be approved by The Harnett County Environmental Health Department. NOTE: HCDPU provides this information as a curteousy to the developer, land surveyor and professional engineer for design purposes. However, HCDPU cannot be held liable for errors, mistakes, ommissions, and inaccurate information provided through this preliminary approval process. It is therefore recommended that the engineer or developer "field verify" the information provided by HCDPU prior to purchasing, grading, excavating, clearing, or developing the subject property. HCDPU may release water meters for the lots of this new subdivision once NCDENR issues the Final Approval, the E-911 addresses have been assigned to each lot and the Developer has paid the Capacity Use Fees. See the established Approval Process for New Water Line Extensions as described on the Harnett County website www.harnett.org under the Public utilities page. LONGE RANGE: The Developer and Contractor must provide HCDPU with a one (1) year warranty on the new water mains and sewer collection lines and associated appurtenances that serve this project once the new utility improvements have been approved by HCDPU and NCDENR.
