ADJOURNMENT
The Harnett County Board of commissioners met in special session on
Wednesday, April 29, 1992, in the Conference Room, Harnett County
Library, Lillington, North Carolina, with the following members
present: Beatrice Bailey Hill, Mack Reid Hudson, and Chairman Lloyd
G. stewart, presiding. Commissioner Walt Titchener and and
Commissioner Bill Shaw was absent. Others present were Dallas H.
Pope, County Manager; Tony Wilder, Assistant County Manager; and
Rodney M. Tart, Public Utilities Director.
Chairman Stewart called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and stated
that the purpose of the special meeting was to receive presentations
from four engineering firms concerning their proposal to conduct a
water plant study.
The engineering firms of McKim & Creed, and Piedmont-Olsen conducted
presentations to the Board during the morning on their proposal to
perform a water plant study.
Chairman Stewart recessed the meeting at 12:00 noon to reconvene at
1:30 p.m. Chairman Stewart called the meeting back to order at 1:30
p.m. with the engineering firms of Finkbeiner, Pettis & Strout, Ltd.,
and Marziano & Minier providing their engineering presentations to the
Board concerning their proposal to conduct a water plant study.
On completion of receiving the four engineering firms' presentations,
Chairman Stewart adjourned the special meeting, April 29, 1992, at
4:00 p.m.
