SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 18,2026
6:30 P.M.
Present: Board Chairman Danny Moody, Secretary Rickie Day, Members: Allison Fenderson,
Betsy McCormick and Russ Ugone
Staff: Director Claire Jones, Assistant Director Sarah Rathke, and Harnett County Human
Resources Director Janice Lane
Call to Order
Mr. Moody called the meeting to order at 6:27 p.m. and indicated that the previous closed session
meeting minutes would be reviewed during the closed session.
At 6:28 p.m., Mr. Moody stated that there was a need to enter a closed session due to personnel
reasons.
The board returned to an open session at 7:18 p.m.
Adjournment
Mr. Day made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Mrs. McCormick seconded, and the motion
carried unanimously. Whereupon, the meeting was adjourned at 7:19 p.m.
