NEILLS CREEK PARK DEVELOPMENT
CAPITAL PROJECT ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of Harnett County, North Carolina, sitting as the governing board for
Harnett County.
Section 1. This project will include the development and renovation of Neills Creek Park, located at 3885 Neill's
Creek Road, Angier. Phase 1 will consists of an Engineering firm to develop a site Master Plan, with
public input, to determine improvement needs for the park. The Master Plan will also provide a solid
foundation for preparation of consruction documents and the Opinion of Probable Construction Cost
(OPCC) for budgeting.
Section 2. The following expenditures are hereby appropriated for this project:

Section 4. To amend project ordinance to include engineering services of WithersRavenel providing construction
documents for development to playground and surfacing, walking path, restroom, picnic shelter, parking
and drive improvements, site preparation, utilities, site furnishings, signage, planning cost, and
contingency.
Section 5. Copies of this capital project ordinance shall be furnished to the Clerk to the Board, the Budget Director
and the Finance Officer for direction in carrying out this project.
