PROVISIONAL MEETING MINUTES
March 6, 2026
4:30 P.M.
Present: Board Chairman Danny Moody, Secretary Rickie Day Members: Allison Fenderson, Betsy
McCormick and Russ Ugone
Staff: Director Claire Jones and Assistant Director Sarah Rathke
Call to Order
Mr. Moody called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.
Approval of Minutes
Following review, Ms. Fenderson made a motion to approve the Election Day / Regular Meeting
Minutes from March 3,2026.Mr. Ugone seconded the motion, whereupon, it carried
unanimously.
Provisional Ballot Review
Mrs. Jones presented a total of 180 provisional ballots and a document titled "Provisional Voters
by Provisional Voting Reason".
Mr. Moody requested that the provisional ballots be reviewed and voted on by the members
based on voting reason.
Mr. Day rnade a motion to approve 84 provisional ballots, as presented by Mrs. Jones. Mrs.
McCormick seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
Mr. Day made a motion to reject 86 provisional ballots, as presented by Mrs. Jones. Mrs.
McCormick seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
Mrs. Jones presented 10 provisional ballots that were to be partially counted, whereupon, Mr.
Moody requested that the members vote on each provisional ballot separately.
Mr. Ugone made a motion to partially accept one provisional ballot, as presented bv Mrs. Jones
Mrs. McCormick seconded the motion and it carried unanimouslv.
Mr. Ugone made a motion to partially accept one provisional ballot, as presented b1, Mrs. Jones.
Mrs. McCormick seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
Mr. Day made a motion to partially accept two provisional ballots, as presented by Mrs. Jones
Mr. Day seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
Mr. Day made a motion to partially accept six provisional ballots, as presented by Mrs. Jones.
Mrs. McCormick seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
Briefdiscussion ensued regarding a staffdata entry error.
Following discussion, Mrs. Jones relayed that the Board accepted 94 provisional ballots;
whereupon, the members began to cast the ballots through the DS200.
The members completed and signed all necessary paperwork.
Adjournment
With no further business, Mrs. McCormick made a motion to adjoum the meeting. Mr. Day
seconded the motion and it carried unanimously. The meeting was adjoumed at 5: l2 P.M.
