ELECTION DAY REGULAR MEETING
March 3,2026
6:30 P.M.
Present: Board Chairman Danny Moody, Secretary Rickie Day Members: Allison Fenderson, Betsy
McCormick and Russ Ugone
Staff: Director Claire Jones and Assistant Director Sarah Rathke
Call to Order
Mr. Moody called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Prayer and Pledge
Mr. Day led the members in prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Approval of Minutes
Deviating from the agenda, the Board reviewed the minutes from the March 2,2026, Absentee Meeting.
Mr. Day made a motion to approve the minutes. The motion was seconded by Mr. Ugone and carried
unanimously.

Election Day Updates
Mrs. Jones indicated that Election Day has gone smoothly and no complaints had been made by voters.
Members provided observations they made at numerous voting sites, whereupon, discussion ensued.
Absentee Ballot Review
Mrs. Jones presented a total of eight absentee ballots for review. Following review, Mr. Day moved to
accept five absentee ballots submitted with ID. Ms. Fenderson seconded the motion, and rt carried
unanimously.
Mrs. Jones presented three Military Overseas absentee ballots and following review, Mr. Ugone made a
motion to approve. Mrs. McCormick seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
Mrs. Jones presented three duplicated ballots, upon which the board reviewed and confirmed all as
accurate. The members completed required paperwork and inserted the accepted ballots into the DS200
machine.
Recess until 7:30 P.M., Move to BOE Office
Ms. Fenderson made a motion to recess the meeting until 7:30 P.M. and indicated that the board would
reconvene at the Board ofElections Office. Mr. Ugone seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was recessed at 6:58 P.M.

The Board closed the early voting machine and the absentee voting machine; whereupon, the absentee
abstract was created. Mrs. Jones reminded the members that the next meeting will be held on Friday,
March 6, 2026 at 6:30 P.M.
Adjournment
With no further business, Ms. Fenderson made a motion to adjoum the meeting. Mr. Ugone seconded the
motion and it carried unanimously. The meeting was adjoumed at 7:50 P.M.
