JOINT SPECIAL MEETING
March l0 2026

Present: Board Chairman Danny Moody, Secretary Rickie Day Mernbers: Allison Fenderson, Betsy
McCormick and Russ Ugone
Staff: Director Claire Jones and Assistant Director Sarah Rathke
Call to Order
Mr. Moody called the meeting to order at l0:51 A.M.
Harnett County Board of Elections Space Study
Mr. Day made a motion to move thejoint special meeting to a closed session to prevent the disclosure of
information that is privileged or confidential pertaining 1o elections security pursuant to N.C. General
Statute Section 143-318.1I (aXl). Mr. Ugone seconded the motion, whereupon, it passed unanimously.
Following a motion made by the Board of County Commissioners, the meeting moved to a closed session
at l0:55 A.M.
After discussion, Mr. Day made a motion to re-open the session and Mr. Ugone seconded. The motion
carried unanimously.
Adjournment
With no further business, Mr. Day made a motion to adjoum the meeting. Mr. Ugone seconded the
motion and it passed unanimously. The meeting was adjoumed at I I :24 A.M.
